Selling on OCOP.pk connects you to thousands of buyers across Pakistan. Whether you're selling handmade crafts, organic food, clothing, or electronics, here's how to get started.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Go to ocop.pk/register and click Register as Seller. Fill in your name, email, and phone number. You'll receive a verification email — click the link to confirm.
Step 2: Set Up Your Store
After registration, go to your Seller Dashboard. Click Store Settings and fill in:
- Store Name: Your brand name (can't be changed easily, so choose wisely)
- Store Description: Tell buyers what you sell and why they should trust you
- City & Province: Helps buyers know where you're located
- Logo & Banner: Sellers with profile images get 3x more clicks
Step 3: Get Verified
Verification builds buyer trust. Submit:
- Phone Verification: Just enter the OTP sent to your number
- CNIC Verification: Upload a clear photo of your ID card
- Bank Account: Add your account details for payouts
- CIT Verification: If you're registered with a CIT center, mark it
4+ verifications earn you the Trusted Seller badge — this significantly increases sales.
Step 4: List Your First Product
Click Add Product in your dashboard. Fill in:
- Title: Be descriptive — "Handmade Multan Blue Pottery Bowl 6 inch" beats "Bowl"
- Category: Choose the most specific category available
- Price & Compare Price: Setting a compare price shows the discount
- Stock Quantity: Be accurate — overselling leads to bad reviews
- Photos: Upload at least 3 clear photos. Natural light, white background works best
- Description: Mention material, size, color, and care instructions
Step 5: Set Shipping Options
In Store Settings > Shipping, configure:
- Fixed shipping cost per order
- Per-item extra for bulky items
- Whether you offer free shipping above a threshold
Step 6: Your First Order
When an order comes in, you'll get an email and dashboard notification. You have 24 hours to confirm. Ship within the agreed timeframe and mark as shipped with a tracking number.
Tips to Grow Sales Fast
- Respond to messages within 1 hour
- Add 5+ products — more products = more visibility
- Get your first 5 reviews by asking happy customers
- Run occasional price promotions
